Studies have shown that up to half of all men between the ages of 20 and 50 trim at least some of their body hair. There are many reasons for men to keep their body-hair trimmed; it makes you appear cleaner, it sends the message that you care about your appearances, it’s cooler in warm weather and it enhances your body’s musculature and shape.

Body hair is part of what makes a man manly, but there’s no reason to overdue it. However, smoothly shaved chest, arms and legs looks rather un-natural on an adult male, so leave that to professional cyclists and swimmers. Most men and women agree that the back and shoulders are no place for hair, so these areas should be shaved smooth. Chest and belly hair should be no longer than what can be wrapped around a finger. A good body groomer will be able to take on the task of all these areas.
